Our Mission
A Family of Faith Glorifying God By Reaching Out to Others Sharing the Good News
About Us:
Our Vision
We believe in the power of God to transform everyone who is willing to offer themselves as living sacrifices (Romans 12:1) into the image of His Son Jesus Christ. We are a family of baptized believers who strive to follow the word of God in everything we do (2 Timothy 3:16-17). We are dedicated to serving our Lord in His mission of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:19) and believe that the Belmont family has an active role in sharing the good news about the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus in our local community and throughout the world (Matthew 28:19-20). We know that we are not perfect, but we are committed to growing together in our faith, worshiping together with all of our hearts, encouraging each other, and teaching each other how to more perfectly obey the will of God as we strive to submit to His purposes in every aspect of our lives (2 Peter 1:5-8). We love our Lord, and work hard to show that same love to each other and our community through acts of service (James 2:26).
Our History
On December 13, 1953, thirty-five individuals met at Belmont for the first time. Since then, we have had many ministers, elders and faithful members who have worked to serve both the Belmont community and the greater Dayton area in many ways. We are excited to see how God will lead as we continue to work in His kingdom!
